A while back, I made an item called The Helmet of the Witch-Knight Vincal. It’s a helmet containing the memories of its deceased owner and continually teaches the new wearer random spells so long as they do not take it off. You can use them for loot, villains’ items, or things to add something unexpected. These are far less complicated and easier to slip into your game than The Ring of Exponential Value or The Rings of the Two Best Friends.
